CHARLOTTE ENAMEL

Vitreous enamel, or as we call it, fire enamel is the colorful result of fusing powdered glass to a metal surface — a technique that is over 2500 years old. It is applied by hand by one of our expert and meticulous enamel artists and then burned onto Sterling Silver in temperatures near 850° Celsius. Currently, there are only three companies in the world that produce the finely ground glass powders for this rare art form.
