17mm White Mother-of-Pearl Disc

The iridescent variety of mother-of-pearl (also called nacre) forms only in pearl oysters and freshwater pearl mussels; it’s the hard lining of their shells and outer layer of pearls. One of the material’s many uses is as tiny spoons for caviar.
